Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) Commences 2026/2027 Online Screening Exercise
Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) has commenced its 2026/2027 online screening for UTME and Direct Entry candidates, running August 5-30, 2026.

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, in the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, and DE candidates, that there will be an online screening from 5th August, 2026 to 30th August, 2026.
Eligibility
UTME and DE candidates must have chosen Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, as first choice. UTME candidates must have scored not less than the indicated minimum score for their various faculties/programmes, as stated below.

Method of Application
Step 1: Login — Visit the post-UTME application section of the Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna website: students.akum.edu.ng and click "Select Application Portal."
Step 2: Profile Update — UTME candidates can log in using their JAMB Registration Number as username and any of their names as password. Fill in the provided form, noting that the photograph uploaded from JAMB will be the only valid ID for admitted candidates throughout their stay at Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna.
Step 3: Make Payment — Proceed to checkout and pay ₦2,000 as the cost of screening. After successful online payment, an acknowledgement slip can be instantly generated and printed.
Important Notes
- Candidates are advised to visit any JAMB office or accredited CBT centre nearest to them to upload their O'Level result(s) (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or equivalent) on both JAMB CAPS and the AKUM portal. DE candidates must also upload A'Level and O'Level results on both JAMB CAPS and the AKUM portal. Only candidates who have done so can be proposed for admission and recommended to JAMB for approval.
- Supplying false information will result in disqualification.
- Candidates are allowed to supply a maximum of two different O'Level examination results.
- If you have any inquiry or encounter any difficulty, send a mail to the email address provided on the portal.
- Any candidate who fails to register for the screening exercise from 5th August, 2026 to 30th August, 2026 will not be considered.
- All DE candidates must appear for a compulsory physical screening of their A'Level results before being offered admission.
