University of Benin (UNIBEN) Begins Uploading First Batch Admission on JAMB CAPS for 2026/2027
UNIBEN has commenced uploading its first batch 2026/2027 admission list on JAMB CAPS. Candidates should check their status regularly.
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has commenced the uploading of its first batch admission list on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who participated in the UNIBEN admission process are advised to regularly check their JAMB CAPS to know when their admission status is updated.
How to Check Your Admission Status
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng.
- Log in with your registered email address and password.
- Click "Check Admission Status."
- Select your examination year and enter your JAMB registration number.
- Click "Check Admission Status" to view your result.
- If admitted, accept or reject the offer via JAMB CAPS.
Candidates should also monitor the UNIBEN admission portal (waeup.uniben.edu) alongside JAMB CAPS, as your admission may reflect on one platform before the other.
Important Note
Admission is being uploaded progressively, so candidates whose status has not yet changed should remain calm and continue checking their JAMB CAPS and UNIBEN admission portal regularly. Names are typically released in batches, so a "not yet admitted" status now does not rule out a later batch.
Once admitted, ensure your O'Level results are correctly uploaded on JAMB CAPS, print your admission letter, and follow up with UNIBEN's clearance and registration procedures.
