The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has extended the deadline for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME registration to Wednesday, August 19, 2026, giving eligible candidates more time to apply.
UNN Extends Post-UTME Registration Deadline for 2026/2027 Academic Session
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially extended the deadline for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME application, giving prospective candidates additional time to complete their registration.
According to a statement released by the Office of the Registrar, the online application, which was originally scheduled to close on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, will now remain open until midnight on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
The extension is intended to provide another opportunity for eligible candidates who have not yet completed their application or were unable to register before the initial deadline.
Eligibility
The registration extension is open to candidates who:
- Chose the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) as their first-choice institution.
- Scored 160 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Meet the University's admission requirements.
Candidates awaiting the release of their 2026 WAEC or 2026 NECO results are also encouraged to take advantage of this extension by completing their Post-UTME registration before the new deadline.
Important Notice
Applicants using Awaiting Result are advised to register immediately and upload their O'Level results to both the JAMB Portal and the UNN Portal as soon as the results are released.
Candidates are strongly advised not to wait until the final day before completing their registration, as increased traffic on the portal may lead to delays or technical issues.
Eligible candidates should make good use of this extension and ensure that all required information and documents are correctly submitted before the application portal closes on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
