OAU Activates Direct Entry Registration Portal for 2026/2027
Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has activated its Direct Entry registration portal for 2026/2027, open until August 14, 2026.

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has activated its Direct Entry (DE) registration portal for the 2026/2027 academic session. Direct Entry candidates who selected OAU are invited to complete their online screening registration.
Registration closes on Friday, August 14, 2026.
Requirements
- OAU must be the candidate's first-choice institution on the JAMB CAPS portal (candidates who chose another institution can process a Change of Institution to OAU)
- Must have at least five O'Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
- Must be at least 16 years old on or before October 2026
- Must hold a strong grade or merit in a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or other recognized qualification relevant to the chosen course
How Screening Works
Direct Entry candidates are screened online but do not write the Computer-Based Test (CBT) exam that UTME candidates take. All screening is conducted online — candidates do not need to travel to the Ile-Ife campus.
Registration Procedure
- Visit the official OAU admission portal at www.oauife.edu.ng
- Locate the 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry registration link
- Create a profile and provide the necessary information
- Complete payment and submit your application
Candidates are advised to complete registration early to avoid last-minute portal congestion, and to carefully review all submitted details, as errors or false information could affect admission prospects.
