LAUTECH Activates 2026/2027 Post-UTME Registration Portal for Direct Entry Candidates

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has officially activated its 2026/2027 Direct Entry (DE) Post-UTME screening registration portal for eligible candidates seeking admission into the University's undergraduate programmes.

Eligible Direct Entry applicants who selected LAUTECH as their institution of choice are advised to proceed with their online screening registration through the University's admission portal at eportal.lautech.edu.ng. Candidates who meet the University's admission requirements but are yet to choose LAUTECH as their first-choice institution should effect the necessary Change of Institution through JAMB before completing their registration.

Key Dates

• Portal opened: Monday, June 15, 2026
• Registration closes: Sunday, July 12, 2026
• Candidates awaiting WAEC, NECO or NABTEB results must upload their results to JAMB CAPS by June 26, 2026

Eligibility Requirements

• LAUTECH must be the candidate's first-choice institution on JAMB CAPS
• A minimum UTME score of 170 (some courses require higher scores; candidates should check the LAUTECH cut-off marks page for their specific programme)
• At least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in O'Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), obtained in not more than two sittings
• Must be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2026 (some sources indicate October 2026 — candidates should confirm on the official portal)

Direct Entry Requirements

• Must have obtained the JAMB Direct Entry form
• Academic transcripts must be forwarded to: The Registrar, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State
• Transcripts must reach the university not later than one week before the screening date
• Oral and written interviews for Direct Entry candidates will be conducted on a date to be announced by the university

Registration Procedure

1. Visit the admission portal: eportal.lautech.edu.ng
2. Pay the non-refundable registration fee of ₦2,000 and portal access fee of ₦5,000 using an Interswitch-enabled debit card
3. Review programme requirements, O'Level requirements, and UTME subject combinations before submitting

Important Notes

• Admission is based on 80% UTME score and 20% O'Level grades
• Any admission approved on JAMB CAPS and not accepted within four weeks of upload will be forfeited or withdrawn
• Any inconsistency in names, state of origin, or age on submitted documents may lead to disqualification
